The Executive Chairman, Ezeagu Local Government Area, Dr. Vita Ndu, alongside his team and representatives from Allott Nigeria Limited, conducted an inspection of the ongoing construction of the Agba Umana-Ebenebe- Ugwu Nwamgbara Asphalt Road on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
During the visit, Dr. Ndu charged the construction company (WoodGate) to expedite action on the project and ensure delivery at full capacity, emphasizing the importance of timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Responding to the Chairman’s address, the site engineer, Engr. Ali Chijioke Julius, assured the Chairman and the residents of Ezeagu that the project would be completed in less than five weeks. He further assured that the work has continuously been carried out using high-quality materials and pledged to continue in line with the industry-set standards and specifications.
The inspection visit sparked jubilation among residents of Agba Umana as Rt. Hon. Mrs. Joy Ugwu, the Councilor representing Agba Umana Ward, expressed profound gratitude to the Executive Chairman for what she described as a “divine intervention.” She noted that the road will not only enhance development and facilitate seamless access to the neighbouring State Anambra, but it will also improve the ease of doing business and contribute to reducing insecurity in the area.

The Agba Umana-Ebenebe- Ugwu Nwamgbara Asphalt Road Project will open up critical access routes while laying the foundation for further economic growth and development in the region.
